Hispanic Society Museum & Library

A free Beaux-Arts museum in Washington Heights holding one of the largest collections of Spanish art outside Spain, including works by Goya and Velazquez, and most days you can practically have the galleries to yourself. It sits inside Audubon Terrace, a courtyard most New Yorkers have never heard of.
