Coney Island USA Freak Bar & Mermaid Parade Route

Every June the Mermaid Parade takes over these blocks with hand-built floats and elaborate sea-creature costumes, a homegrown Coney Island tradition since 1983. Even outside parade season, the surrounding blocks keep the same offbeat spirit.
