Fremont Troll

An 18-foot concrete troll clutching an actual Volkswagen Beetle in one hand, built in 1990 under the Aurora Bridge by four local artists as a neighborhood art project. It's become the unofficial mascot of Fremont's self-declared 'Republic of Fremont.'
