George P. Mitchell Statue

A life-size bronze sculpture by Jay Hester, installed in Town Green Park in 2007, depicting the founder of The Woodlands. It's a fitting but understated tribute given how much of the surrounding community exists because of Mitchell's original vision, and it draws far less attention than the park's larger event spaces.
