Rise of the Midgard Serpent
A 35-foot-long serpent sculpture by Marc Rosenthal, built from recycled oilfield pipeline sections and painted green, installed just offshore from Southshore Park in Lake Woodlands in 1985. It's the longest art piece in The Woodlands, but because it sits out in the water rather than along a walking path, most residents drive right past without ever spotting it.
