City Hall Subway Station (view from the 6 train loop)

The original 1904 City Hall station closed to regular service in 1945, but if you stay on a downtown 6 train past Brooklyn Bridge, it loops through the old platform's Guastavino tile arches and skylights. It's a free glimpse of the subway's most beautiful abandoned stop.
