HIDDEN GEM
Amiable Child Monument
The smallest official monument on New York City parkland, an 1797 grave for a five-year-old boy who drowned nearby, and the only private grave on city park property in Manhattan. It sits practically in Ulysses S. Grant's shadow at Riverside Park, and almost nobody stops to read the inscription.
